The FoBos
The FoBo Jug Band are an acoustic trio stomping and hollering blues, country and ragtime classics from 100 years ago.
The trio consists of:
- Harpo – Harmonica and Washboard;
- Speed Dial Simmonds – Guitar, Vocals and Kazoo;
- Cripple Fingers – Piano.
Recent gig highlights for us include the London Jazz Festival, London Blues Fest, headlining the Blues Shakedown festival, the Ignite Series at the Royal Albert Hall, Wilton’s Music Hall, the Bull’s Head in Barnes, the Crazy Coqs Cabaret at Brazzerie Zedels.
We’ve played many wonderful private and sometimes weird gigs from pig stud farms to the British Museum. Send an invite and if we can make it we’ll come.
This year 2023 we’re excited to be back at the Nidaro’s blues festival in Trondheim in April and doing our first gig at the renowned The Ned in London.
We play regularly at Bar NightJar, London’s finest Speak Easy cocktail venue and the Green Note in Camden once a month, voted London’s favourite music venue not just by us but Time Out Magazine too.
